Puma AG is the world’s third-biggest sporting goods company. It was founded many, many years ago by Rudolf Dassler after a major falling-out with his brother, Adi Dassler, the dude who founded Adidas.

Ah, Puma … i love Puma. My first football boots were made by Puma; I can’t remember which model though. Then, very much later, I got myself the Puma King. John Arne Riise’s Goals

Liverpool’s John Arne Riise has a wonderful habit of scoring spectacular goals. The latest was Liverpool’s second goal against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League football quarter-final first leg match last week.

The iPhone is cheap to make claims iSuppli, the company that worked out the cost of the parts in an Xbox 360 and showed how expensive the PlayStation 3 was to make. Now it has costed Apple’s iPhone — without having one to take apart. And it reckons the margin is around 50%. [More at Guardian Unlimited]
