The Suria KLCC shopping mall (or just KLCC) at the Petronas Twin Towers is just ten minutes car ride away from where I live; thanks to the Ampang-KL Elevated Highway.

I can get off the Elevated Highway via the tunnel connecting it to the Petronas Twin Towers’ underground parking bays and have the car parked in no time, without having to endure the hassle of KL’s traffic. So, whenever I feel like going to a shopping mall, the natural destination would be KLCC.

I went there again last Sunday to buy some stuff; but this time I also took a few photos.

Yonex Nanospeed 9000 Type S - my new badminton racket; and it’s a JP (Japan) version. I love it. It’s head-light and well balanced. So, it’s good for my now not so strong wrist and forearm.

Anyway, when my brother and I decided that we’re in the market for a new badminton racket, we decided to go for the JP version Yonex since we’ve never had one before. All the Kuala Lumpur badminton shops we went to only have Yonex SP version rackets. What to do … have to order from Japan is it?

And, so we did … we ordered 2 Yonex Nanospeed 9000 Type S from shuttle-house.com, a badminton shop in Osaka, Japan (used my brother’s credit card, of course. Hehehe).

The order was made at shuttle-house’s website on 22/4/2007, paid by credit card when the payment URL email came on 23/4/2007. They packed the rackets and mailed them using Japan EMS on 24/4/2007, the rackets left Osaka on 25/4/2007 on flight number JL0721 (Japan Airlines?), cleared by Malaysian Customs at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 26/4/2007 and arrived at my brother’s office on 27/4/2007.

The Sony Ericsson T650i mobile phone caught my attention.

Makes me want to throw away my Nokia and replace it with this one. It’s sleek and simple looking.

According to the Sony Ericsson website, the T650i has a mineral glass screen which is scratch-resistant, and crystal-clear even in bright sun light. And it’s just 12.5 mm thin. They claim the T650i makes you feel that it belongs in your hand.

Lee Chong Wei, you were freakin awesome to beat China’s Bao Chun Lai in the 2007 Indonesia Open badminton final today. Congratulations. You’re a champion again. Keep this up, ok. And whack the day lights out of Lin Dan the next time you meet him.

An all-female Chicago law firm, specializing in divorce cases, advertised:

“Life’s short. Get a divorce.”

on a billboard showing close-ups of a woman’s and a man’s chests.

It drew some serious flak from certain quarters, including the Women’s Bar Association Of Illinois. Chicago City officials took the advertisement down after a week, not on moral grounds, but because the advertising company did not have a proper permit.

“They ripped our billboard down without due process. We own that art. I feel violated.” said lawyer Corri Fetman, whose law firm put up the advertisement (International Herald Tribune).

I agree; its a work of art.

Yesterday, I can’t double click the drive icon for my USB flash drive to browse the contents. Had to right click it and hit the explore option instead. I also noticed that the autoplay option is there too. Strange.

Browsing the flash drive, I found a Bha.dll.vbs file and an autorun.inf in the root directory. WTF are these, huh?!

Googling for information on Bha.dll.vbs, i found out that it’s a malicious Visual Basic (VB) script (Windows virus/malware; no surprises here). So, how to remove the damn thing?

A webpage from somewhere suggested that Flash Disinfector (a program by sUBs) be used to remove the computer virus. I downloaded the Flash Disinfector program, double-clicked on the program file and followed the instructions. And it worked

So, I guess, my antivirus software needs to be kept updated at all times, huh.
