VBS:Solow in Bha.dll.vbs - Windows computer virus; I hate you!

Yesterday, I can’t double click the drive icon for my USB flash drive to browse the contents. Had to right click it and hit the explore option instead. I also noticed that the autoplay option is there too. Strange.

Browsing the flash drive, I found a Bha.dll.vbs file and an autorun.inf in the root directory. WTF are these, huh?!

Googling for information on Bha.dll.vbs, i found out that it’s a malicious Visual Basic (VB) script (Windows virus/malware; no surprises here). So, how to remove the damn thing?

A webpage from somewhere suggested that Flash Disinfector (a program by sUBs) be used to remove the computer virus. I downloaded the Flash Disinfector program, double-clicked on the program file and followed the instructions. And it worked

So, I guess, my antivirus software needs to be kept updated at all times, huh.

Thanks for the link to clean the virus. Funny thing was, my AVG Antivirus is updated. Just did a scan and it still cant detect the damm thing.

I had the same problem on my computer, it elminates the virus, but after i restart my computer, i get my username before windows startup, i click on it to start windows, but it keeps repeating the same request again - so i cant start WIndows.
The only thing that resolved it was to run boot and set a windows repair - which lasts for about 30 to 40 minutes.

I had the same virus on another computer, but i did not encounter this problem.
If anyone had this kind of problem and resolved it in an easier way, please tell me about it - i would be gratefull.

any way i still can find that file in system32 ….
i have read the procedure to remove it by using search (windows) but i cant find any single file that they told me…..
and i would like to know is it still in my computer???

Hi this is prathibhakumar I got the same problem. when i doing the double click on any drive in my computer except removable storage devices it shows autoplay option. Man this is crazy i dont no wether it is virus are nt. guys plz inform me if u got solution for it ok thanks a lot.
