Knee, Meniscus and Arthroscopy - Part 1

My left knee was injured after sustaining a knock while playing futsal some time in late 2003. It was more of a kick than a knock; but I don’t really remember, as in futsal, the pitch is small and everybody seems to be cluttering into each other most of the time.
I realised something was wrong only when the knee started swelling after the game, though not by much. I wrapped an ice pack around it to control the swelling. That was cold, very cold. The swelling subsided after a day or two and I thought that was the end of the matter. Read the rest of this entry »
